Project Summary
The Enneagram Prison Project (EPP) is a nonprofit organization that brings Enneagram-based self-awareness training into prisons, jails, and correctional facilities across the United States. Their previous website couldn’t handle the scale of their growing team and program catalog, and they needed a Wix Studio build that was dynamic, maintainable, and emotionally resonant with their mission.
I rebuilt the site in Wix Studio using Velo (Wix’s JavaScript environment) to power dynamic functionality that Wix’s visual editor alone couldn’t deliver. The team showcase is the most complex feature — a CMS-driven filterable grid of team member cards with headshots, roles, and bio excerpts. Clicking a card opens a dynamic popup with full bio, social links, and program affiliations. Tab-based filtering by role type (facilitators, board, staff) was built with custom JavaScript.
The program impact section was built with horizontal scroll navigation and animated statistics to communicate the organization’s reach — facilities served, participants reached, states active. The CMS was structured so that staff with no technical knowledge could add new team members, programs, and impact stories through the Wix content manager.
Multiple rounds of client feedback were incorporated including responsive fixes across tablet and mobile breakpoints, copy revisions, and color adjustments. The final site communicates EPP’s mission with the seriousness and warmth the work deserves.
