Active Life Chiropractic

Active Life Chiropractic is a professional clinic in Minnesota that needed a serious upgrade to their digital presence. Their original website was not converting visitors and failed to represent their expertise in the local market. The goal was to build a modern and trustworthy site that would rank well in local searches and make it easy for new patients to book appointments.

I chose to build the site on WordPress using the Divi Builder. Instead of using standard templates I developed a custom design to ensure the UI felt unique to their brand. I wrote a significant amount of custom CSS to clean up the Divi modules and ensure the layout stayed sharp across all screen sizes. This approach allowed me to maintain a high level of design control while giving the client an easy way to manage their content later.

To keep the site functional and easy to update I integrated ACF Pro. I set up specific fields for the clinic services like Adjustments and Graston Therapy along with a dedicated section for DOT Exams. Using ACF means the client can update service descriptions or clinic hours through a simple interface without needing to touch the actual page layouts. This separation of content and design is a key part of my development workflow for client projects.

Performance and SEO were major priorities for this build. Since most patients look for healthcare providers on mobile devices I spent a lot of time optimizing the mobile experience. I achieved a 91 Google Lighthouse score by focusing on fast load times and efficient asset delivery. I also implemented a full local SEO strategy including proper schema markup and a clean heading structure to help the clinic rank for chiropractic searches in their specific area of Minnesota.

The final result was a fast and visually clean website that immediately improved the clinic business. The project was approved on the very first presentation with zero revision rounds. More importantly the site started delivering results right away with a 3x increase in digital inquiries. It is now a reliable tool that the client can manage independently while it continues to drive new patient growth for their practice.
